Gajraj Masale X Manitaa’s aim for the series was to showcase the quality of the product and to create brand awareness, sales were no where in concern.
Who better to showcase & validate the product than the “Extreme user” (The one who uses the product the most) of it. In this case they were most clearly Chefs/Cooks. There were 2 reason to choose street vendors over restaurants, one street vendors are way more approachable than chef’s at a restaurant, they were the faces you recognise and have a personal connection with, and two budget limitations.
While hunting the best vendors, we came across an existing long term user of the product Mr. Kailas Magar, who’s been running a successful business since over 10 years. Mr. Kailas Magar was kind enough to express his love for the brand.
All though street vendors might not be very good infront of the camera or have very great communication skills, but they are honest, experienced(with product) and easier to relate and connect with.
